Blarney Brogues-

Wilmington’s finest Irish combo, bringing the sounds of the Emerald Isle to the Port City.  The Blarney Brogues have been entertaining for over seven years.  Rachel Tisdale on the bodran, flute and vocals, Matt Malloy, guitar and vocals and Craig Thompson on fiddle and vocals comprise this energetic group.  We know all your favorite Irish ballads and pub songs so come out and join us. Ceol agus craic again!

We are Kilbeggan Irish Band, a small group of friends and musicians who have come together to entertain Wilmington NC and surrounding areas with a mix of Irish Traditional tunes and songs. Paul Davis on guitar and vocals * Mary Ruth Marshall on fiddle and vocals * Julia Dudley on bodhrán and vocals * Nancy Sharp on fiddle, tin whistle , Irish banjo * When they’re not around town as Kilbeggan, you can catch most of this group playing the Irish Trade sessions in Wilmington.

Slainte, The UNCW Irish Dance Club has been a part of the Irish scene in Wilmington since 2009.  We have danced at the Parade Fundraiser, St. Patty Day events and at various clubs and organizations.  We encourgae all UNCW students to dance and especially to dance with us.

Walsh Kelley School of Dance

The Walsh Kelley School of Irish Dance is the Premier school of its kind in the Wimington area. Having started in Charlotte in 1998 and then branching out to Wilmington in 2008, we have graduated many award winning students.  We teach reels, jigs, slip jigs, hornpipes, soft shoe and hard shoe.  Why jog when you can jig?  Come see us to get your dance ON.
